How the contains-letter finder works

Type the letters you want the word to include and press Find. UnscramblePro scans all 168,548 words and returns every one that contains all of those letters, in any order and any position. Results are grouped by length — shortest first, so the easiest plays are at the top — and each word shows its Scrabble score. Click any word to copy it.

This is a contains search, not a rack or pattern search. The word can be any length and use any other letters; it just has to include the ones you typed. To build words only from tiles you hold, use the word unscrambler; for letters in fixed positions, use the crossword solver.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the word unscrambler?
The unscrambler builds words only from the tiles on your rack. This finder does the opposite: it returns every word in the dictionary that contains the letters you choose, no matter how many other letters surround them. Use it when you want all words featuring Q and Z, not just the ones you can spell from a rack.
Does letter position matter?
No. The letters can appear anywhere in the word, in any order. For a position-based search where letters sit in fixed squares, use the Crossword Solver instead.
Can I require a letter to appear twice?
Yes. Type the letter as many times as you need it. Entering SS returns words with at least two S's, like MISSISSIPPI or ASSESS.
Why are only some words shown for common letters?
A single common letter like E matches tens of thousands of words, so the list is capped at the 300 shortest for speed. The full total is always shown. Add a second letter to narrow the results to a useful set.
