Anagram Solver

Enter your letters and instantly see every anagram — each word that rearranges all of them. Scored for Scrabble and Words With Friends, so your best play is always first.

How the anagram solver works

Type the letters you want to rearrange — use ? for a blank or unknown tile — and the solver finds every valid word that uses all of them. Results are ranked by Scrabble score, and you can click any word to copy it. Unlike the word unscrambler, which lists shorter words too, the anagram solver only shows true full-length rearrangements.

Frequently asked questions

What is an anagram?
An anagram is a word formed by rearranging all the letters of another word, using each letter exactly once. For example, LISTEN, SILENT, ENLIST and TINSEL are all anagrams of each other — they use the same six letters.
How is this different from the word unscrambler?
The anagram solver only returns words that use ALL of your letters. The word unscrambler returns every word you can spell from your letters, including shorter ones. Use the anagram solver when you want true rearrangements; use the unscrambler when you want every possible play.
Can I use blank tiles?
Yes — type ? for each blank or unknown letter. The solver treats it as a wildcard that can stand in for any single letter, so the results still use all of your tiles.
Why did I get no results?
Some letter combinations have no other anagram — the only word that uses exactly those letters is the one you typed. When that happens, try the word unscrambler to find shorter words you can make instead.
